Rails Full-Stack Developer

How you’ll be adding value

During your first 90 days at HubHero, you will add features to our existing buying group software, as well as contribute to the development of a new product offering. Our technology stacks are predominately Rails / Postgres, with either a vanilla html/css/js or a Vue.js front-end. We make considerable use of AWS serverless technologies for data manipulation and analysis. You will be expected to contribute across the stack, with a mix of pair programming and independent work. We take an agile approach to development, and take pride in the quality of our code. This position will report directly to the CTO, and provides opportunities for the candidate to grow and expand their career alongside the growth of HubHero.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy well structured and tested Rails code 
  • Pair with other engineers on feature, infrastructure, and serverless projects
  • Work with team and clients to define product requirements
  • Develop flexible and scalable architectures

 

Qualifications:

  • Excellent developer with Rails production experience
  • Significant SQL experience
  • Continual learner
